What is a PEEK sheet?cid=7

PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) sheets are high-performance engineering thermoplastics known for their excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties. They are widely used in demanding applications due to their high strength, stiffness, and ability to withstand high temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). PEEK sheets are also highly resistant to wear, abrasion, and harsh chemicals, making them suitable for use in aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronics industries. Additionally, they have good electrical insulating properties and low moisture absorption, which further enhance their versatility and durability.

What is a PEEK sheet?

It's a profile of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) which is a high-performance thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained in high temperature applications.

What is a PEEK plate?

PEEK plates are also made from polyetherketone (PEEK), which is similar of PEEK sheets. But have some difference.

What's difference between peek sheet and peek plate?

PEEK plates are typically thicker than PEEK sheets and have dimensions suitable for structural applications. PEEK sheets, on the other hand, are thinner and often used for applications that require flexibility or as protective layers.

What is a PEEK film?

PEEK Film is much more thiner than PEEK sheet, generally the thickness is below 1mm. Common size is 0.005mm to 0.5mm.

What are PEEK sheets used for?

PEEK Sheets are used to fabricate items for demanding applications, including bearings, piston parts, pumps, high-performance liquid chromatography columns, compressor plate valves, and electrical cable insulation.

Why is PEEK so good?

The high thermal stability of PEEK enables the material to be used continuously at a high temperature of up to 250℃ for a quite long time. PEEK also exhibits good combustion resistance, thus produces fewer gases when burned, and provides good resistance to X-rays and Beta and gamma rays.

What's the thickest wall we could produce?

Generally, for PEEK sheet size is from 5mm to 40mm, but we could reach to 120mm, it needs customized made. Standard size is Width x Length is 650 x 1000mm or 650 x 3000mm.
